Job Description:

We are looking for a QHSE Manager with strong expertise in developing, managing and maintaining QHSE systems aligned with ISO standards, particularly for energy management, environmental management, and greenhouse gas (GHG) quantification. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping Ecoryx achieve and maintain certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14064, ISO 14065, and ISO 17029 as well as conducting audits in areas such as GHG reporting, GHG validation and verification, energy and green buildings. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an integrated QHSE Management System (QMS, EMS, OHSAS) aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 ISO 45001, ISO 17029, and ISO 14064/5 standards. 
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14064, ISO 14065, and ISO 17029 standards. 
  • Facilitate the company’s certification process for relevant ISO standards and act as the primary liaison with certification bodies and regulatory authorities. 
  • Conduct regular internal and external QHSE audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. 
  • Lead and participate in management reviews of the QHSE Management System. 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and work instructions. 
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures. 
  • Investigate and analyze accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions. 
  • Monitor and measure QHSE performance indicators and report on key findings to management. 
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on QHSE matters and build internal capacity on ISO standards, energy efficiency, environmental compliance, and GHG validation and verification 
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and permits. 
  • Maintain good relationships with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders. 
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the organization. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in QHSE legislation and best practices. 
  • Provide training and consultancy services to other companies on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 implementation and management. 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, sustainability or a related field. 
  • 10+ years of experience in QHSE management roles. 
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing and maintaining certification such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17029, ISO 14064/5 and ISO 45001 standards. 
  • Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 14064 and ISO 45001 (preferred). 
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
