Ecoryx, a Saudi environmental and sustainability consultancy, is working to expand its Impartiality Committee and strengthen its governance foundations. To this end, it is opening the door for more professionals to apply and become independent members of the Impartiality Committee.

Ecoryx’s Impartiality Committee provides independent oversight of impartiality, conflicts of interest, and commercial pressure across the organization, safeguarding the separation between Ecoryx’s advisory, digital, commercial, and assurance activities.

The Committee challenges management, reviews systemic risks, monitors corrective actions, and escalates material concerns when required. Committee members do not deliver client assignments or approve individual validation or verification opinions.

As part of Ecoryx’s continued investment in strong foundations and governance, we are inviting expressions of interest and nominations from senior professionals to join the Impartiality Committee as independent members.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Accreditation, conformity assessment or professional assurance
• Environmental and greenhouse gas validation and verification
• Sustainable finance, capital markets, green bonds or sukuk
• Governance, ethics, risk, compliance or legal
• Academia, regulation, issuer, investor or wider public-interest perspectives

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Strong professional standing and independent judgement
• The confidence to challenge senior leadership
• No material conflict involving Ecoryx, its relevant clients, partners, or validation and verification activities

The Role

This is a paid, independent oversight appointment. The expected commitment is four scheduled meetings each year, supported by limited preparation and occasional consultation on urgent matters. Members may be based in Saudi Arabia, elsewhere in the GCC, or internationally.
