Ecoryx combines “eco” with the Arabian Oryx, a regional symbol of resilience, embodying our purpose: enabling businesses to thrive while economies and ecosystems flourish together.
Decades ago, the Arabian Oryx vanished from the wild, driven to the brink of extinction. Through visionary leadership and national commitment, it was brought back.
Ecoryx draws inspiration from that remarkable recovery. We empower businesses to succeed commercially while rebuilding the natural and social capital they depend on, demonstrating that profitability and sustainability can go hand in hand.

I had the privilege of working for large organizations and also leading my first startup venture. Throughout this journey, I’ve witnessed the evolving landscape of climate change policies and the growing need for businesses to adapt. This experience made me realize the challenges that both SMEs and large corporations face in navigating the complexities of climate change, as well as the immense opportunities that can be unlocked by embracing sustainability.
Inspired by this realization and driven by the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030, Ecoryx was founded with a clear mission: to guide businesses through their net-zero journey. We provide bespoke decarbonization and sustainability services, along with innovative solutions that help transform the challenges of climate change into strategic advantages.

Serial entrepreneur and sustainability executive with 25+ years across energy, technology, and climate sectors. Former Saudi Aramco and Schlumberger professional who founded Saudi Arabia’s first indigenous subsurface data solutions company. Now Ecoryx in guiding organizations through sustainability transitions, ESG integration, and low-carbon technology adoption aligned with Vision 2030.
Rahim O’Neill
Managing Director
Senior ESG and sustainability leader with 20 years delivering innovative ESG projects internationally. Deep expertise in frameworks including GRI, TCFD, CSRD, and SFDR. Led planning and development of the International Sustainable Finance Center of Excellence and delivered Ireland’s National Sustainable Finance Roadmap. Brings broad management consulting experience to Ecoryx’s strategic initiatives.
Malik Al Abdulqader
Sr. Director of Sustainability & ESG
Sustainability and energy professional with over 14 years of experience in ESG, carbon management, and process engineering. Former Sustainability Senior Manager at DNV Energy and sustainability leader at SABIC, with additional roles at Dow Petrochemical Company and SADARA. Currently at Ecoryx, where he leads carbon-neutrality programs and large-scale decarbonization projects across major organizations.
Belinda Scott
Business Development Director
Business Development Director with over 20 years of regional sustainability experience. Former Head of Sustainability at GIB B.S.C. and First Abu Dhabi Bank, where she led comprehensive ESG strategies and positioned FAB as a leading sustainable finance provider across the Gulf. Extensive expertise in sustainability governance, ESG reporting, green asset tracking, and managing oversight committees. Active contributor to regional climate and sustainability initiatives in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.
Dr. Ahmad Abdel-Fattah
Climate & Sustainability Programs Director
Environmental scientist with over 25 years in climate change adaptation, environmental governance, and international development. Holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. Has managed multimillion-dollar climate adaptation programs and mobilized international climate finance with partners including the World Bank, UNDP, and UNEP. Develops climate and sustainability programs at Ecoryx.

Sustainability and ESG professional with a Big Four consulting background and extensive experience across the Middle East and Europe. Expertise spans ESG strategy, decarbonization, climate action, sustainability reporting, and sustainable development. Holds a PhD in Business and Socioeconomic Sciences, specializing in Sustainable Development. Combines technical expertise with strategic and commercial insight to help organizations turn sustainability ambitions into practical, measurable outcomes.
